Project Connect is a nationwide initiative that started with a group of medical students at Memorial University of Newfoundland who organized a drive of used cell phones for their local women's shelter and the project is now expanding across Canada.
Phones are critically important to function in our society today; oftentimes, you need a phone to access healthcare, support, shelter, safety, work and a fresh start. Project Connect therefore endeavors to empower and engage our communities to contribute to this vulnerable population's future.
We're accepting used phones, laptops/tablets, and chargers (wall chargers, portable power banks) in addition to purchased items such as new SIM cards. Please be sure to factory reset your devices before donating.
We are happy to offer our home office as a local drop-off location in Ottawa. Please contact us before to ensure someone is available to receive your used devices.
